DIY Terrain Project: Objective Markers Part 2

Ok, so you have you objective marker / Terrain built up with bitz and vinyl spackling. You have left it to set and cure over night and you are ready to add some sand flocking.

You will need some Elmers or White glue. I use Clear School Glue from Elmer's.

When you flock, smear the object or base you are trying to flock with the Elmer's glue. It is ok if it blobs up. Next you snuggle your base into the sand so that the entire base is covered just like the base of infantry above. Let it sit for a few minutes while you smear the next base. This gives the sand and glue time to really get to know one another.

Pull the pieces out as you put the next one it and let the whole bunch set over night.

Make sure you set these things somewhere they will not get bumped into or accidentally knocked over.

Here is another cheap piece of terrain I am working on for a Fantasy project but it could easily be used in a futuristic genre as well... maybe some ancient statue of some long forgotten war hero.

For the Statue use two oval bases one large and one medium. You will need an AXE shampoo bottle and a large figure of some kind to act as your war hero monument. Glue them together and then flock the base as you see fit.
