The Apollo project seeks to add an Air Defense capability to the Artemis / Athena duo of assault mecha for the Terran Alliance Marine Corps.
It carries two large, rapid-firing Coil-guns and can track up to 300 different aerial targets. It is mobile enough to keep up with the Artemis and Athena and can depress its guns to engage light ground armor and mecha.
The model is built from a Gundam Tallgeese body, Tau crisis suit jetpack, stealth suit burst cannons, a 40k tank sensor bit for the head and extra armor plates from the hips.
WIP photo of the Apollo. I haven't quite figured out what to use for a radar / lidar dome or how to mount it. Any suggestions?
The twin coil-guns are mounted on the back pack in a position that can be changed with mico adjusters and torso movement. Still not quite happy with the gun configuration but don't know what to do yet. Still thinking on it and I'm open to suggestions.
